Based on the Agera RS, the new Koenigsegg Agera XS will soon become the most powerful car registered in the US
The Koenigsegg Agera XS is a one-off car based on the Agera RS for an owner in the US. It will be the first Agera RS in the country and will also be the most powerful, fully homologated, street legal production car. XS stands for Excess or Excessive.
The Agera XS is the first Agera to be finished in Orange. This particular colour is called Karosserie Orange. It is an intense orange colour with a diamond-dust metallic effect. The interior is finished in black alcantara with orange contrast stitching. The seats have been taken from the Regera.
Just like all Koenigseggs, the Agera XS comes with a removable hard top roof, that can be removed or attached in minutes. The roof can be stored under the front hood of the car. In the One:1, the roof cannot be stored. The new one-off hypercar gets bespoke aerodynamics, including a specially designed rear wing, which is the largest ever fitted to a Koenigsegg. Active aerodynamics elements present below the car have been customised to work with the large rear wing.
The Koenigsegg Agera XS is powered by the same 5.0-litre V8 engine present in the Agera RS. Power has been upgraded to 1341 bhp, which is the same as that of the One:1. It also gets the One:1’s magical 1:1 power to weight ratio. The engine is paired to a 7-speed paddle-shift transmission.
The owner has made a car with the power of a One:1 with the comfort of the Agera RS, which is more suitable for daily driving and long drives.
The Koenigsegg Agera XS will make its public debut at the Monterey Car Week in the US.
