Tata Hexa finally launched in India at INR 11.99 lakhs and goes up to INR 17.49 lakhs
The much awaited Tata Hexa crossover has been launched in India at INR 11.99 lakhs (ex-showroom, New Delhi) and goes up to INR 17.49 lakhs (ex-showroom, New Delhi). It is available with three trim variants in six variants.
Powering the Aria-based vehicle is a 2.2-litre, four cylinder diesel engine. In the base XE model it produces 148 bhp and 320 Nm of torque and is paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. The other variants get a more powerful version of the same engine. In the XM and XT, it produces 154 bhp and 400 Nm of torque. They come with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The XT manual comes with four-wheel drive. The car comes with four different driving modes – Auto, Comfort, Dynamic and Rough Road. It returns 14.4 kms to a litre of diesel.
The Tata Hexa comes equipped with projector headlights with LED daytime running lights, 10-speaker JBL music system, captains seats for the second row, ConnectNext infotainment system with a 5-inch touchscreen developed by Harman, ambient lighting, voice recognition and smartphone integration.
The safety features include airbags, ABS with EBD, stability programs and Hill hold assist.
