Porsche released the 2019 Cayenne Turbo at the 2017 Frankfurt International Motor Show.
Powered by a twin-turbo V8 engine producing 550hp and 770 Nm of torque, the new Porsche Cayenne Turbo dismisses 100kph in just 3.7 seconds and has a track top speed of 285 kph. The claimed figures can be achieved with the optional Sport Chrono Package. This makes it the fastest variant of the new third generation Cayenne and also quicker than the old Turbo S. Power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission.
The Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) System allows variations in the ride height. This allows the car to do some mild off-roading as well. A chassis control system and a torque vectoring system improve the handling of the car. The SUV even gets an adaptive roof spoiler that improves downforce and even acts as an air brake when required.
To set it apart from the regular Cayenne, the Turbo gets new LED headlights, widened wheel arches, twin tailpipes and special 21-inch wheels. On the inside, it gets sports seats, 710-watt BOSE Surround Sound System and Porsche Advanced Cockpit. The Porsche Advanced Cockpit, which is present in the regular third-generation Cayenne, comes with two seven-inch HD screens and an analog tachometer for the instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch HD screen on the dashboard. The system gives access to online navigation and comes with voice control, and a glass-look touch surface.
The new 2019 Porsche Cayenne Turbo is available to order now.
